SCHOOL ADVISORY

Nursery, Pre-Prep, Prep, Primary and Secondary School Placements

Finding the right school for your child can be an overwhelming experience. State or Independent? Co-ed or single sex? 7+ or 11+? With our School Advisory Service we can guide you to make the right decisions with confidence. We believe that every decision regarding your children’s education should be exciting, not confusing or overwhelming. With so many choices available in today’s education each school search is individual, bespoke and completely confidential

At Learn Happy London we get to know you and your child as individuals. We strive to find schools that meet your criteria and provide a shortlist of schools that we believe to be suitable. Furthermore, we assist with application forms, tailor a schedule of school visits and prepare your child for entrance exams

Whether you are a UK resident or relocating to London and looking to find the right school for your children we can help.

HOW WE WORK

1. INITIAL CONSULTATION

The initial consultation is an opportunity to get to know you and your child and find out about your individual needs and educational goals. This is to help us understand what would constitute a suitable school for your child.

2. SCHOOL CHOICE RESEARCH

In depth research will be undertaken on the most suitable schools for your child in your chosen area within London. A detailed report is prepared containing a shortlist of suitable schools with all relevant details

3. SCHOOL LIAISON AND VISITS

We liaise with school admissions to organise and arrange school visits and meetings. Follow-up meetings with Learn Happy London can be arranged to discuss any questions you might have.

4. ASSESSMENTS

We recommend assessments in order to gauge the child’s potential and maximise their ability of getting into their preferred schools. A report is provided with feedback on strengths and areas to work on.

5. PRIVATE TUITION

Once assessments are completed and feedback is given it is recommended to have bespoke private tuition, tailored to your children’s needs and requirements, to prepare them for school admissions exams and interviews at 7+. 8+, 11+ and 13+.

6. APPLICATION SUPPORT

We will guide and support you throughout the admissions process undertaking any necessary clerical work in relation to completing forms, contacting schools and arranging any subsequent meetings.

7. RECEIVE OFFERS FROM PREFERRED SCHOOLS

Once offers are made, we can talk you through each option and help advise on the best choice for your child and any academic requirements necessary.

8. PREPARE CHILDREN FOR NEW SCHOOL

When an offer is accepted, we can help prepare your child for his or her new school by means of transition support, private tuition and confidence coaching.
